Notice:
The Satsuma Board of Education meeting, which was moved from January 24, 2012, will be held on January 31, 2012 at City Hall. There will be a pre-meeting at 5:30 PM with the regular meeting to follow at 6:00 PM.
Notice of Public Hearing:
The Planning Commission will have a public hearing on February 2, 2012 at 6:30 PM to hear public comments on an amendment to the zoning ordinance concerning the parking of commercial vehicles, boats, and trailers in residential areas.

Satsuma Citizen of the Year 2011
The purpose of the Satsuma Citizen of the Year Award, sponsored by Satsuma Community Development Organization, is to recognize an individual who has made significant civic contributions to the development and quality of life of this community through his or her personal volunteer effort.
Candidates for this award may be nominated by individuals, clubs, organizations, churches, or groups each year. A letter and resume recounting the nominee's service to the community must accompany the nomination. Deadline for nominations is March 2, 2012. Forms will be available at Satsuma Public Library, Satsuma City Hall, or printed from the City website.
All nominees will be honored during a dinner at Steele Creek Lodge on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 7:00 p.m.. Tickets will be sold for $15.00 each.

Plaques for D.C. Baldwin Square
may be reserved by filling out this form
- Plaques will be of white marble, approximately 18” X 6”
- Plaques will be set into concrete slabs approximately 4’X4’ and will become a permanent part of the square.
- Cost of the plaque, concrete, 12 letters of engraving and blacking of letters is $125.00
- Additional letters may be purchased at the cost of $1.50 per letter.
- Reservations for plaques will be on a first come, first serve basis and those purchasing earliest will be given the opportunity to select the location their plaque will be placed.
- Plaques must be paid in full at time of reservation.
