About the Senior Program
Satsuma Seniors meet on Tuesday and Thursday each week at Steel Creek
Lodge from 9 AM until 1 PM. They enjoy a variety of games such as
Dominos, Hand and Foot card game, Scrabble, Yatzee, Bingo, and much more.
It is a wonderful time to fellowship and meet new people in your
community.Seniors also look forward to fun activities such as Birthday
Celebrations, Singing Groups, Cook Outs, and Line Dancing.
We hope you will take advantage of this growing program. If you have

Lunch is now served on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Steel Creek Lodge to Satsuma Senior Citizens for a donation of $1.00. We would like to say thank you to our neighbors at the Creola Sail Center for helping us make this possible. Meals are provided by the Mobile Area Agency on Aging.
Senior Advantage of North Mobile, Inc.
is a Virtual Retirement Community whose mission is "Helping seniors stay independent in their own home." For more information visit their website at www.senioranm.org.
The City has applied for CDBG funds to be used to build a Senior Citizen Facility Building. The proposed site is to locate the building near the entrance of Wright Park. A walking trail with exercise stations are also planned.
The Homebound Meals Program is now running smoothly! The program is for senior citizens living in Satsuma who are age 60 or over and disabled / homebound. The meals are $1.00 per day for one meal at lunchtime. The program runs Monday - Friday except on holidays. For more information on this program, please call 675-1440.
