Steele Creek Lodge is a beautiful waterfront lodge and park. On the grounds you will find a boat launch, a small fenced-in playground area, and several picnic tables and grills. It is secluded for maximum privacy, yet it is easily accessible from Highway 43 and Interstate 65. (Click here for a map.) If you are interested, please contact City Hall at 675-1440.
The lodge itself has 4500 sf area that accommodates approximately 300 people. Along the west wall of the meeting area there is a massive brick fireplace that adds much comfort during the colder months.
There are large separate restrooms for men and women inside and there are also restrooms on the grounds. It has central air and heat with several fans. There are also fans on the open front porch. The Lodge also has a large fully-equipped kitchen to satisfy any caterer's needs.
